When we first launched Family Games Inc., more than twenty years ago, we gave a percentage of the sales to the S.P.C.A. right off the bat. We printed with soy based inks, used recycled materials in production, and all wood used in manufacturing was either from surplus wood from furniture factories or farmed trees from re-growth forests. Twenty years later finds us doing the same. In fact, our popular Dao™ game uses natural bamboo cane for the packaging and river stones as playing pieces! Factories that produce Family Games Inc. products are visited several times a year to ensure that fair and ethical practices are in place and that the employees are treated fairly and paid accordingly. Several hundred games and toys are donated annually to local charities and youth centers as a way to support community and give back to those less fortunate.
